My name is Colleen Rucci and I have been an employee at Rowan’s Osteopathic School of Medicine for the last 23 years. Striving to make a difference, I enrolled in Rowan’s Master’s Program for Strategic Communications, with the hope of assisting the student with resources in mindfullness and wellness. I hold a spot on the BodyFit Fitness team, a locally driven exercise community. My aim is that my experience in higher education, along with my fitness training, would enable me to be a valuable resource for students.
3 NUTRITIOUS Plant-baed Recipes
A plant based diet (vegan, vegetarian, or flexitarian), is associated with a bevy of potential health benefits. Scientific evidence shows that this type of diet has lowered blood pressure, helped in the prevention of type II diabetes, assisted in weight loss, decreased the risk of cancer, improved cholesterol, and minimized the risk of stroke. Most importantly, a healthy diet activates and maintains a healthy mind.
I institute several of these meals in my already lean diet regimen. Below is a list of my three favorites. Support your immune system, and try them out!
